We provide food and beverage manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, cold storage facilities, institutions, pet food manufacturers, and other organic waste generators with customized materials management programs. As we continue to build our footprint of Farm Powered anaerobic digesters across the country, our team of experts will work with you today to manage your packaged waste, manufacturing byproducts, and event-based waste streams and divert them to the most beneficial destination. As our facilities become operational, we will then seamlessly transition your materials to our digesters.

Pre‑processing Packaged Organics
Vanguard Renewables' advanced Organics Recycling Areas depackage and pre‑process expired goods, off‑spec batches, or unsafe to eat food and beverage products.
Our Organics Recycling Area in Agawam, MA is fully licensed and bonded at the state and federal level to receive unsalable alcohol products for certified destruction, allowing us to sustainably destroy alcohol shipments* "in bond," and allowing breweries and distilleries to reclaim paid Federal Excise Taxes.

Recycling Food and Beverage Waste
Extracted organics are recycled at a Farm Powered anaerobic digester, combined with farm waste, and converted into renewable energy. Some streams are able to skip pre-processing and enter the anaerobic digester directly.
